It is with extreme sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of our daughter Stephanie Corinne Siddle at age 33. She fought a long and hard battle but she succumbed to her illness.

She leaves behind her Parents Allen and Corinne Siddle, and siblings Jessica, Chantelle, Shane, Christopher (Lindsay), Melissa (Jon), and her nieces and nephews Erica and Noah who she asked about as often as she could. Also Aaron, Payten, Kaylin, Avery, Gemma, Wynter, Makayla, and Larry. Her grandparents Joy Jarvis, and Faye Matthewman. Her Uncle Jim and Aunt Mary and cousins Jimmy, Tracy, and Ashley.

She was predeceased by her Great Gramma Ruth and Grampa Jim, also her Gramma and Grampa Siddle, Ruth and Tom. Stephanie was a beautiful girl, smart, fashion savvy, brave, and wonderful. She was the perfect child and the apple of her dad's eye, their bond was so great and it was evident from the day she arrived. Often they would go to listen to the Chamber music concerts. Stephanie it was an honour and privilege to call you our daughter. We had you for 33 years, what a gift. You made us better people through loving you. She participated in so many things. She danced in hip hop, ballet, jazz, at Ken Peter's Dance and the Royal Conservatory of Dance. She played baseball and soccer for Gateway Community Club, snowboarded, played piano where she achieved many certificates at the Conservatory of Music, violin, flute.

Her most accomplished was her figure skating where she won many medals and ribbons for her efforts. Competing from Minot to The Pas, we had some wonderful trips. She shined on the ice. She graduated from River East Collegiate in 2006 with honours and from there went on to the University of Manitoba where she received her degree in Bachelor of Arts in psychology, even making the Deans Honour list.

Special thanks to her Gramma Joy and her Auntie Colleen and Uncle Jim who were there for her all they could. Also want to thank Auntie Colleen Mortimer for all the love and support. A huge appreciation for Brent and Gaylene Nemeth words can't say enough. Thanks also to Andrea for all the calls and concerns. Thanks to Kari for never giving up. I would like to say a special thanks to her friends Max, Lisa, Lauren, Courtney, Nikki, and Kaila.

“Rest now our sweet angel you deserve it, until we meet again.”

Flowers gratefully declined and donations to Bruce Oake Memorial Fund may be made. P.O. Box 61084 Grant Park, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3M-3X8, in honour of Stephanie.

I met Stephanie working at toys r us. We started training the same day .she was always happy and bubbly.i talked to her through the years but much like her I fell into meth addiction and lost track of many people. I'll never forget what a joy she was to be around and work with.and her mom often coming in the store to see her.such a great family and she will be greatly missed. I'm happy I'm out of that life and wish she could have been also. Her story will keep many others alive.and she will be greatly missed.xo

Stephanie's heart was pure gold and full of sunshine from the first time I met her in treatment. Hands down, my favorite roommate!! My deepest condolences to the family...Stephanie really had so much courage and tenacity. Her smile was bright...her demons were dark. I'm so grateful Steph and I crossed paths in life...she taught me valuable lessons! RIP my girl! 💜

I met Stephanie when we were little, we lived on the same street. If I look back on my childhood, Stephanie and the Siddles were always a part of it. She always had a bright smile and a love for Disney! I am so sad to hear of your passing, and I am so sorry you had to leave so soon. I am sending so much love to Corie and Allen, I just simply can’t imagine. Please know you are in my thoughts. Jessica, Chantelle, and Shane, I am tremendously sorry for your loss, may you find love and strength around you.

I met stephanie about 5 or 6 years ago, we were in a treatment centre together in selkirk,mb for awhile. She was so kind sweet funny friendly. But she was very shy a first once i got to know her she came out of her shell.. Shes someone i grew close to. But we lost contact after treatment, hearing about her death was a shock & my heart hurts for the family. My deepest sympathies to you all, ive battled my own demons but i fight everyday to stay sober. Im clean 4 months. I knew Stephanie when she was just a little girl. I spent most of my day’s at her house babysitting and pretending her and her siblings were my little sisters and brothers. My heart is heavy that her life was cut so short, but she was very loved and I know her memory will love on strong in everyone’s hearts. 💕 Sending big hugs, love and strength to you all I am so sorry for your loss ❤️
