

Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Swarn Singh Hunjan, 78 years old, passed away on Friday March 14, 2025 at 11:45 PM.
He is survived by his wife Charanjit Kaur Hunjan and children; Hardeep Lotey (Manjit Lotey), Parvinder Sohal (Iqbal Sohal), Paramjit Hunjan (Sukhvinder Hunjan), Navneet Hunjan, grand children; Harpreet Lotey (Leena Brar), Chanpreet Lotey (Mantu Panchhi), Jasmine Lotey, Jasmeen Sohal, Gurkirat Sohal, Jasroop Hunjan, Jasraj Hunjan and Tanveer Devgun.
Swarn also leaves behind his parents, the late Chuhar Singh Hunjan and Dalip Kaur Hunjan, siblings; Surjinder Kalsi (late-Amar Singh Kalsi), late-Harbhjan Singh Hunjan (Baljeet Kaur Hunjan) Harjeet Ghataure (Jagjitpal Ghataure), and neices/nephews; Jaspreet Singh Kalsi, Prabhjeet Kaur Kalsi, Manpreet Singh Hunjan, Amanpreet Singh Hunjan, Parampreet Singh Hunjan, Harman Ghataure.
A dedicated machinist, he spent much of his life working with precision and passion, always striving for excellence in every project he undertook. Swarn is known for his exceptional mechanical skills and a remarkable ability to fix and create.
People from all walks of life respected and admired Swarn for his wisdom and expertise. He had a natural ability to solve problems and was always there to lend a helping hand or offer guidance to those in need. Whether it was a colleague, a neighbor, or a friend, many sought his advice, knowing that his insight was both valuable and grounded in years of hands-on experience.
Throughout his life, Swarn maintained an unwavering passion for learning. Even in his later years, he continued to seek out new knowledge and embraced every opportunity to expand his understanding of the world around him, especially his interest in cars. His curiosity and drive to learn were infectious, inspiring those who knew him to never stop growing or seeking improvement.
Outside of his professional life, Swarn was a devoted family man and a proud grandfather, always putting his loved ones first. He was known for his kindness, humility, and generous spirit. His contributions to the community and his family will never be forgotten.
As a man who lived with integrity, curiosity, and dedication, Swarn leaves behind a lasting impact that will continue to inspire future generations. We are grateful for the time we shared with him and will cherish the memories forever.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 10:00 am at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
