Teodora "Beth" del Mundo

Teodora Frijas del Mundo, affectionately known as Beth, Bette, Betty, or Babette, age 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Beth was the cherished mother of Harold (Marilyn) and Debbie (Robert), and grandmother to Hailey, Cathrine, and Emily. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joys, and she filled their lives with unconditional love, laughter, and delicious meals. Beth also had a special place in her heart for Cooper, the family’s beloved dog, whom she adored. Cooper kept her young with his endless requests to play, enjoyed extra treats, and loved to snuggle with her as she watched her favourite shows.

She was the treasured sibling of Jose, Leonida, Corazon, Lourdes, Teresita, and Thomas. Beth carried the values of love and togetherness wherever she went. She made it a priority to visit her siblings as often as she could, spending quality time with them and making memories.

Beth was a woman of many passions, living her life with enthusiasm and grace. She enjoyed gardening, sharing her cooking, dancing at Zumba, shopping, and traveling. Her favorite moments were spent with family and friends, preserving precious times through photos and videos. Her positivity, vibrant laugh, kindness, warmth, and understanding touched everyone who knew her. Beth also had a feisty side, adding fun and excitement to every interaction.

Beth leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will forever live in our hearts. She is now at peace and will be remembered with eternal happiness.

A celebration of Beth's life will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:59 PM at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg. The funeral service will occur Monday, January 27, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home followed by burial from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM.

In honor of her memory, the family asks that you bring a smile, a memory to share, or perhaps a Zumba dance step in her honor. She would love that.
