It is with great sorrow that her family announces the passing of Teresa Loria on February 24, 2022; she was 88 years old. Teresa was born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Cosenza Italy where she met and married her husband Saverio; who passed away in November, 2008. After spending a few years in France, they moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada and found their home. Teresa was a hairdresser up until retirement at the age of 81, showing just how much she loved to share stories and laugh with all walks of life; if there was a gathering, she’d be at the center of it ensuring the good times continued to roll.
Teresa is survived by her son Salvatore, her daughter-in-law Ainslie and her two grandsons, Andrew and Saverio. The world is a little dimmer without her laugh and smile, but those memories will continue to provide warmth for an eternity.
A private ceremony has already taken place as per her wishes.
