Teresa Santangelo

(nee Condello)

Peacefully, on August 14, 2011 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Teresa Santangelo passed away at the age of 66 years young.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband Sam; sons, Carmelo (Rhea), Michael (Sherry); daughters, Maria (Carmelo), Sarina (Brad), grandchildren Miranda (David), Cristina (Chris), Carli, Caitlyn, Brandon, Andrew, Justin, Ryan, Scott, Brandon, Megan, and great-grandchild, Christopher.

She is also survived by her loving brothers Carmelo (Gabriella), Antonio (Ruth), Giuseppe (Kathy), nephews Anthony, Nico, and nieces Adriana, Lara-Lisa, Sarina, Liana along with many great nieces and nephews.

Teresa came to Canada in 1953 alongside her loving parents Domenico and Serafina Condello and siblings and was a loving and generous daughter, sister and wife. Teresa was predeceased by her parents Domenico and Serafina.

Prayers will be said on Thursday evening, August 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 19 at 11 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Church with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Interment to follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St. Reception to follow at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations may be made in Teresa's memory to the "Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba" (telephone 949-2000) and to the "Manitoba Lung Association" (telephone 942-0189).

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, staff and priests of the St. Boniface Hospital 7A West Unit and I.C.U. Unit, for their wonderful care and kindness.
