Terry was born in Winnipeg May 7, 1945, the only child of Ann and Clifford Watling. He started work at UGG in 1966 where he met and fell in love with his wife of 45 years, Marjorie. Terry had made some wonderful friendships working 28 years at Xerox. After his retirement Terry took a job working for Trader Publications in order to be closer to the classic cars he loved. Terry had a passion for life, embracing many hobbies including ham radio, scuba, photography and golf. His smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Terry is survived by his wife Marj, son Matthew and daughter Shannon (Ryan). The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Cancer Care and Riverview Palliative Care.
A memorial celebration will be held between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday September 5, 2013 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, Winnipeg.
There was a “Come and Go” gathering, an opportunity to share coffee and remembrances. Tributes given at 2:30 p.m.
