Our beloved sister Titina Kebede Mengesha was born on December 12, 1963 from her parents Kebede Mengesha and Amesale Kidanemariam in Ethiopia, Hararghe, in small town Kobo. Titina Kebede Mengesha immigrated into Canada in 2002 and worked as a housekeeper with various companies until 2023 she became ill.
From an early age, Titina was known as a kind spirit, a strong sense of responsibility and deep love for families and friends. These qualities have remained in her throughout her life until her last breath. Titina loves to cook and share meals with families and friends and treasured the joy in every moment we shared meals, laughter, traditions, and conversations that brought us close together.
Though we deeply missed our sister Titina, her kindness and deep love for families and friends will be treasured for years to come.
Titina Kebede Mengesha is survived by her sisters Kelemwork, Serawit, Gerawork, Helina, Jote, Belynesh, Addis, Rediate Kebede Mengesha, and her brother Manyazewal Kebede Mengesha. Titina was preceded by her brothers Aman and Thomas Kebede Mengesha.
