Wallace George Snyder passed on September 30, 2022, with his wife and best friend, Sylvia at his side.
Wally spent his childhood in Winnipeg. He excelled in sports, his favorites being hockey and soccer.
In his teens, he moved with his parents and older brother to Whittier California.
Wally loved everything about life in California. His best memories were eating tamales from the taco truck for lunch… every day !!!! and his celebrity status as “ Whittier’s first foreign student “ .
The family eventually returned to Winnipeg and Wally began his lifelong career in Administration with The City of Winnipeg.
Wally and Sylvia celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in June.
In addition to Sylvia, Wallace is survived and missed by his daughter and her husband, and his grandson.
