Walter Zbigniew Sosnowski

We announce the peaceful passing of Walter Sosnowski on June 14, 2024.

Walter was 5 years of age when his family emigrated from Poland in 1960.

Walter was a unique fellow and kept to himself most of his life. He was an avid comic and comic memorabilia collector for all his life and enjoyed all the Superhero and Sci-Fi movies that went with his passion.

His early years were spent working at Winnipeg Photo and then moved on to become a security guard.

He was the last immigrant left from our family. He spent his last 5 years at Poseidon Care Home.

Walter is survived by nephew Henry and niece Joanne.

Walter never complained about anyone or anything and kept his life views simple. He had a fine sense of humor considering his disabilities at the end of his life. He was a pure soul and will be sorely missed.
