October 16, 1951 – June 13, 2013
Following a brief but courageous struggle with cancer, it is with deep sadness we announce the passing of William (Bill) Albert Leonard Henders on June 13th, 2013 at 61 years of age at Victoria General Hospital. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 37 years, Patricia Gayle, and his daughter Shannon Leigh.
He was pre-deceased by his parents William Richard and Elsie Henders and his mother-in-law Patricia England.
Many thanks to CancerCare Manitoba as well as the doctors, nurses and staff of Victoria General Hospital who made his last few weeks as peaceful as possible. Also, our sincerest thanks to family, friends and community for their prayers, help and support during Bill’s illness.
Per Bill’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
