Although her death was rather sudden it followed two years of deteriorating health after a stroke.
Wilma is survived by her only son James, sisters Rose and Anne and brother Peter. She lived most of her life in Manitoba. Born and raised in the Steinbach area and living 60 years in Winnipeg. She moved to Calgary with her son where she spent her final two and a half years.
People will remember her joy and kindness as well as her garden in summer.
The funeral for Wilma will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016, 2 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home.
