

Mr. Alexander (Al) Louis Biannuci, 90 of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Brighton Gardens. He was born August 4, 1925 in Cambria County, PA to Bruno and Mary Papini Bianucci. He was retired from Piedmont Airlines after 40 years of service and was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church, but sometimes attended St. Clements Episcopal Church. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII and was preceded in death by his wife of almost 50 years Juanita Irvine Bianucci in 1996 and longtime friend Elizabeth Ann Best in 2015.. Surviving are his 3 children, Annette Turner (Herb), Tina Brabandt-Chadwick (Sid) and John Bianucci: 5 grandchildren, Michael Brabandt (Amanda), Jason Bianucci, Anthony Bianucci, Lyn Hardway (Steve) and Herbert Turner (Kim); 4 great grandchildren, J.P., Will, Auston and Caroline; a sister, Delores Sample and special friends, Janet and Richard Rigsby. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 19th at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Chapel with Rev. Jamie Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park with Military Rites by the Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:30 pm, Thursday February 18th at the funeral home.
