Mr. Charles Henry Carter

Charles Henry Carter, 82, of Walkertown passed away on May 1, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Virgil Carter and Lola Myrtle Carter; his wife, Elizabeth Marshall Carter; his sister, Loraine Robertson; and his brother, Alger Benny Carter. His immediate survivors are his sister, Nelda C. Luffman and husband Bill of Elkin; and several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II; self-employed in the rental property business; and of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed visiting his many friends in Elkin who will miss him. Friends may visit on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
