Eleanor Leslie Schoulda, 101, passed away at Vienna Village on Sunday, June 29, 2025. Eleanor was born on October 14, 1923 in Valencia, PA and was the daughter of the late John and Ellen Ferguson Leslie.
Eleanor was the wife of the late Capt. George Charles Schoulda, who passed in 2015. During his career in the military, Eleanor and George were stationed all over the world. She was a dedicated military wife and mom. After George retired, they moved to Charlotte, NC before moving to Salemtowne, where she lived for 20 yrs. Eleanor was active in their church, where she sang in the choir and helped with Sunday School Classes. She loved gardening but most importantly, had a strong faith and loved her family.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian.
Eleanor is survived by her 3 children, Craig, Leslie, and Eric (Karen). Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Kathi, Scott, Jenny, and Katie and 7 great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3815 Yadkinville Rd, Winston Salem, NC
