Winston-Salem—Mrs. Elizabeth Inez Walker Edwards, 85, of Winston-Salem passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011. She was born in Forsyth County to Howard J. and Johnsie Rupard Walker.
Mrs. Edwards was a member of Oak Summit United Methodist Church until a period of declining health.
She was a loving wife, sister, and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James and Andrew Walker; sisters, Louise Walker and Ann Snyder.
A graveside service will be on Thursday, March 10, 2011, 11:00 a.m., at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 a.m. on Thursday before the service.
