Ian Bryce Weeks

Ian was a kind and generous man who loved his family above all else. He was a loving husband, an adoring dad, and a loyal friend. Ian will truly be missed.

He was born on August 26, 1984, in St. Petersburg, Florida. From a young age, Ian had a love for the ocean. He spent all of the time he could in the water. He became a boat captain and enjoyed his work working in marina rentals. Any excuse to be in the sun and on the waves.

Once in North Carolina, he began working in his mom’s shop framing pictures. But Ian could fix just about anything. He was always really handy. His warm heart and giving personality led him to always be the one to call when something needed building or fixing in a friend’s home.

Ian leaves behind his loving wife of 9 years, Danisha “Dani” Jinnah; beloved son, Alistair Weeks; mother, Connie (Andrew) Putnam; sister, Sarah Weeks (Robert) Comer; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jameson Hays.

A celebration of Ian's life will be held on Tuesday, August 26th from 5:30-7:30pm at Vogler Funeral & Cremations, 3815 Yadkinville Rd.
