To The Taylor Family -

I had the pleasure of being one of Mr. Taylor's students in 10th Grade Biology at Syosset High School in the 70's.  He was one of the more engaging teachers with a distinct love for the subject and his teaching craft.  To this day, we recall with the fondness of memories his stories about his trip to Russia, his collection of cockroaches and fossilized dinosaur excrement, and his love of plants (or his term "vegetative propagation") -- his "real life" experiences made the subject matter all the more interesting. 

He was a kind man and a tribute to his profession -- the Taylor Family should be very proud.

Kyle and I just learned that Jack has passed away. We are so very sorry for your loss. Kyle has always spoke highly of Jack. My dad passed away April 18, 2014 and is also buried at Forsyth Memorial Park so we will stop by to pay our respects to Jack next time we are there. If you need anything at all please don't hesitate to ask.

Jack was a very nice man , with a smile on his face. He could always be found in a bookstore somewhere in town. Condolences to Barbara and his family. He will be missed.
