Joyce "Tutsie" Faye (McKinnon) Perry Stallings

She was born in Durham on January 6, 1936. Joyce attended the University of North Carolina where she was a member of the first graduating class of the dental assistant program. She worked in the dental industry for the majority of her life. Joyce was active in the Cub Scouts and the Northwest Little League Association.

Joyce was employed by Aramark Corp. at Salem College where she deeply cared for all of the students.

Joyce is preceded in death by her son, Steven Wesley Perry, and her parents, Mandy and Charles McKinnon. She is survived by her children, Beverly Perry (Patrick) FitzGerald and Earl Lee Perry, Jr.; sister, Mary McKinnon (Julian) Butler; grandchildren, Kathleen Perry FitzGerald, Courtney Peters, and Brandi Buzzanco; and lots of loving nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 21st at 2pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd, with Pastor Kivett Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Forsyth Memorial Park.
