Maxima was born to Balbino Camaya and Soledad Camaya on March 22, 1948 in Tabaco City, Philippines. Married to Emeterio Lumbres for over 50 years. Together they had son Robert Lumbres (Dhiane) and Josephine Machado (Abraham) who brought them grandchildren, Andrew Lumbres, Matthew Lumbres, Isabella Lumbres, Aidan Machado, Landan Machado. She is also survived by siblings, Fe Bulaong and Lutgarda Villamayor. Maxima is predeceased by Lidwina Surara, Eligio Camaya, Teresita Manese, and Sofia Rosario Camaya.
Maxima was retired registered nurse from UMDNJ Newark. Together with her loving husband they made a beautiful life together in New Jersey before moving to North Carolina. She is great example of an immigrant success story.
The family will receive friends for a viewing at the home of Robert in King beginning on Saturday, June 21st at 4pm. She will remain in her family's home until her mass on Tuesday, June 24th at 2pm at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Maxima will be entombed at Crestview Memorial Park.
