She was preceded in death by the love of her life Henry Wayne Spencer, her parents, a brother Ray Franklin Waller, her sisters Stella Mae Stone, Ruby Irene Barber, Edith Lucille Matthews, and Martha Virginia Waller.
“Mibba” as she was called by her family, lived so bravely battling a lifelong illness (Type 1 diabetes). She was an expert in handling life by doing all the right things to live longer. She always engaged everyone with her cheerful attitude and her love for her family, her church, and her friends.
She was so talented in creating wonderful art in all forms of needle work and sewing. The beautiful things she created were really works of art.
She is survived by one daughter, Ellen Kay Spencer Hogg, son-in-law Captain James (Kimo) Ashton Hogg, granddaughter Shannon Lindsay Hogg all of California, a grandson Dr. James Alexander Hogg LAc of Charleston, South Carolina, special nieces and nephews, and brother-in-law Ralph Spencer.
A Special thank you to Jim and Ann Lowe at Vienna Village and their wonderful staff, her special PA Elvy Pettit, friends Roger and Janice Baxter, special niece and nephew Jo Ann and Virgil Jessup who took such good care of her always. They loved her as much as she loved them. Thank you God for saving her life so many times so we could keep her here longer and for giving us the mother we would have chosen ourselves.
