Nancy was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 25, 1960. She was adopted from Lake Bluff Children’s Home by her parents Philip and Doris Dole. At a young age, her mother began reading to Nancy. Her favorite book was “Nancy Nurse.” By the age of 5, Nancy had her calling. She was going to be a nurse. Her selflessness, empathy, and compassion aided her in her career. Nancy was a dutiful nurse, always giving each patient the care and attention they needed. She worked at many nursing homes and retired from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
Nancy was a member of Hanes Baptist Church. Her faith and relationship with Jesus were very important to her. Her love of God could be seen by others. This love gave her a joy and brightness that created an outgoing, social butterfly. Nancy could relate and befriend anyone. She always knew God was watching over her and Nancy made sure she embraced life, even when it was hard.
At the center of her world was Nancy’s family. She made sure her children wanted for nothing. She put all her love, time, and care into raising her family. Nancy was so delighted to become a grandmother and made sure to spoil her grandchildren as much as she could.
Nancy leaves behind her children, Bryan Redmann (Jahara) and Laura (Matthew) Miller; grandchildren, Carson and Maverick Miller, and JB, Logan “Junior”, and Alexis Redmann; siblings, Steve Dole and Jennifer (Kim) Kleparski; nephew, Jeremy Kleparski; niece, Sheri Edmunds; and numerous friends.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Saturday at 11:30am at Hanes Baptist Church.
