Mr. Richard Gray Jordan

.Richard Jordan, 67, of Tobaccoville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 2, 2010 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Helen George Jordan; the mother of his children, Betty Jordan; his uncle Elmer George; and his nephew Todd Cook. His immediate survivors are his daughter Tammie Jordan Aarhus of Lexington; son Rodney Jordan of Tobaccoville; grandchildren Brandon, Richard (Bubba), Melody, Allen, Jonathan; Amber; Billy; Josh; David; Hannah, Ben; great-grandchildren Brooke; Nathan; Katie; Trent; Isabella; Reed; Jack; brother Randal Jordan and wife Wilma; and his sisters Linda Bentley; Joann Cook; and Kathy Jordan. He loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was employed by Yarbrough Transportation Company from 1976 to 2001. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Friends may visit on Friday, November 5, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Road where his funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Walkertown.
