He was born in Martinsville, VA to Ashley Berry and Pearl Alley Ballon. Robert proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He served for over 4 years with the Dept of Defense working with the NSA. He retired from RJ Reynolds after 30 years.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael Berry. He is survived by his children, Teresa Joyce and Mark Berry, and grandchildren, Tyler Collins and Cassidy Collins.
