Robert Allen Plouff Sr.

Robert Allen Plouff Sr. 84, of Pfafftown, NC, formerly of Lincoln, RI, died October 18 at home after a long illness. He is survived by his three children, Robynne, Robert Jr. and Christopher Plouff. four grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He was married to his late wife Beverly (Gallagher) Plouff for 59 years. She preceded him home in 2020.

Robert was a US Marine stationed at Cherry Point, NC from 1956-58 and then was assigned to the USMC Reserve Center in Illinois from 1958-62.

He worked in the automotive industry before acquiring a position at the Woonsocket Vocational Technical High School where he taught auto body shop class from 1976-1995.

After his retirement, he and his wife moved to North Carolina where Robert became a gentleman farmer and furniture builder.

Formal arrangements have not been finalized.
