Robin was born on December 20, 1960 in Cary, North Carolina. As a Navy kid, she lived in Mississippi, and Connecticut, before settling in Yadkinville. Upon High School graduation, Robin earned her certificate from King's Business College. She worked over 40 years in annuities and international transfers in the insurance and banking industries for Integon and Bank of America, before retiring with Wells Fargo.
In her free time, she loved knitting, puzzles, tending to her flower garden, and the beautification of her community. Robin’s greatest passion however, was supporting the Carolina Panthers. She was one of the original Personal Seat Licenses and proud of it. Robin attended every Carolina Panthers home game until she was too sick to go. Even then, she would still sometimes go to the game anyway.
Robin was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell G. Kiser, who passed in 2019, and her mother, Linda Royal Haynes Crew. Left behind to miss her are her father, Amburn M. Haynes; siblings, Rick Haynes, Tommy (Gale) Haynes, Roxanne Johnson (Michael Lindsay), and Leigh (Gary) Matthews; nieces and nephews; Brooke Johnson Stanley, Nikki (Adam) Broussard), Zack (Kayla) Matthews, and Cary Anne Broadway; 3 great nieces and 4 great nephews; in-laws, the Kiser family; the Crew family; and many other loved ones and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 7, at 3:00pm at Enon Baptist Church in East Bend. Please wear Carolina Panthers or UNC Tarheel colors to help celebrate Robin.
