Mrs. Vera Louise Leonard Bonner, 94, of Winston Salem, died Monday, July 18, 2022, at Arbor Acres Assisted Living Community. Mrs. Bonner was born September 13, 1927, in Augusta, AR, the daughter of Arthur and Bertha Foshee Leonard. She loved to dance, play bridge, and garden. Mrs. Bonner was retired from the Federal Aviation Administration and was a communicant of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. Mrs. Bonner was married to Horace (Ed) Bonner for 56 years until his death in 2003. Survivors include a son, Michael Bonner and wife Judy of Kernersville; a daughter, Margo Rees and husband Joe of Fernandina Beach, FL; two grandsons, Andrew and Ryan Bonner of Kernersville; and a brother Donald Leonard of Fort Smith, AR.
A graveside service for family only will be held at Parklawn Memorial Park.
