William "Ed" Edgar Moore

Ed was born on December 6, 1950 to the late William “Bill” and Inez Moore in Forsyth County. He graduated from West Forsyth High School in 1969. Ed graduated from Mount Olive College and attended Campbell College.

He worked for Sides Contracting and Lowes Foods. Ed was a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church.

Ed enjoyed the beach and the mountains. He was an avid deer hunter and thoroughly enjoyed photography.

He is survived by his sisters, Kay (Gleason) Worrell, Margaret (John) Holleman, and Marie Smith; nieces and nephews: Karen (Barry) Lynch, Travis (Robin) Worrell, John (Vicki) Holleman III, April (Adam) Rogerson, Misty (Jeff) Nichols, and Adam (Danielle) Smith; and many great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 20th at 1pm at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3771 Yadkinville Rd, with Elder Gleason Worrell officiating. The family will receive friends at 2pm following the service for a reception at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd.
