Raised in Palm Beach Gardens, Amanda found her calling in education. Most recently, she taught at Dillard Street Elementary School, where she encouraged young minds, built confidence, and made a lasting difference in the lives of her students. Her influence extended beyond the classroom, leaving a lasting impression on her students, their families, and her colleagues.
Amanda’s compassion also shaped her role as a foster parent. Over the years, she and Seth welcomed numerous children into their home, providing love, stability, and a sense of belonging during challenging times. By opening her heart and home to others, she offered care and support to children who needed it most.
Above all, Amanda cherished her family. She was a devoted mother to Andre and Ariel, who were the center of her world. Together with her husband, Seth, she built a family shaped by their commitment to fostering and caring for children. She will be remembered for the warmth she shared with her family, the children in her care, and the many lives she touched through her work and generosity.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Seth Cantrell; her children, Ariel and Andre Cantrell; her parents, Dawn and Robert Hahn; her sisters, Heather Hahn (Stuart Bartlett) and Jennifer Hahn McLellan (Jason McLellan); and her nephew, Owen McLellan.
Although her life was cut far too short, the love she gave and the difference she made in the lives of others will continue to be felt for years to come.
In honor of Amanda’s vibrant spirit and her love of bright colors, the family invites guests to wear cheerful colors, especially pink, her favorite, as we come together to celebrate her life and memory.
