She was a longtime business owner, a lover of music, creative and a true hippie at heart.
She loved The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, art, animals, cooking, decorating, and just about anything that gave her an opportunity to create something.
At 48 years old, Anita chose to adopt Shilyn, biological granddaughter, and raised her as her daughter. She loved Shilyn, encouraged her creativity, and supported her in every endeavor.
Anita had a personality that could fill a room, and she had a sense of humor that stayed with her right until the very end. Even in her final moments, she still found a way to crack a joke. She simply never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh.
Anita was preceded in death by her eldest son, Jason Oliver Webb, who passed away on September 15, 1996, and her son, Shane Dana, who passed away on April 16, 2026.
She is survived by her daughter, Shilyn Jaycie Dana, who will carry her mother's creativity, strength, humor, and fiercely independent spirit with her.
Anita lived life on her own terms, loved loudly, created freely, and left her mark on the people fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, but knowing Anita, she would have wanted everyone to remember to laugh a little, turn up the music, make something beautiful, and not take life quite so seriously.
Rest easy, Mom. You were one of a kind.
