Barbara Wilson Thompson

Barbara Thompson lost her battle with cancer Friday evening, June 19, 2020 in the company of her Son Michael and her loving husband of 56 years Roy. She is survived by her husband Roy of Winter Garden, son Michael, daughter-in-law Kathrine Thompson, grandson Marshall and granddaughter Emma of Fairfax, VA, and her brothers Don and Paul Wilson of Orlando. Barb was preceded in death by her parents Julius and Frances Wilson of Orlando.

Barbara was retired from the Department of Defense, Pentagon in May 2005. She had a 25 year career which started in Germany in 1980 and ended at the Pentagon. Her last 20 years were as a Presidential Appointee appointed by Presidents George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush

A Memorial Service will be held July 2, At Baldwin-Fairchild funeral Home, 428 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL. Viewing 3-5 pm and service at 5 pm.

Masks are required and will be provided by Baldwin-Fairchild.
