Bernice J. Jones

Bernice J. Jones, 95 of Winter Garden, FL passed away on December 1, 2019. He was born in Coffee County, AL on October 23, 1924. Bernice served proudly in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired after over 30 years in the Citrus industry where he supervised shipping of oranges. Bernice enjoyed camping in his younger days and enjoyed time in the mountains of North Carolina with his wife when they were able. Bernice is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Virginia Jones in 2017. He is survived by his son, Michael Jones, his brother, Ernest Jones, his sister, Betty Myers and two grandchildren: Seth Jones and Greg Jones.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, December 6 at the Winter Garden Cemetery. Interment with military honors will follow at the Winter Garden Cemetery, Winter Garden, FL.
