Bessie “Marie” McKinney, 91 of Orlando, Florida passed away on September 6, 2016. She was born on August 12, 1925 in Milligan, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and caring for her family was a joy in her life. She loved to garden and was an excellent seamstress. Marie was an artist at heart, and enjoyed making the simplest things at home into works of art. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, George E. McKinney in 2001. Marie is survived by her son, George McKinney and wife Sharon; her daughter, Treina Skeen and husband Ron; her sister, Helen Geneva Estep; her grandson, Troy Jones and by her niece Linda Workman as well as other extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9 from 6 – 9 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden. Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, September 10 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Ferndale Cemetery, Ferndale, Florida
