Beverly Sue Heintzelman

It is with heavy hearts filled with eternal love that we announce the passing of Beverly Sue Heintzelman, the heart of our family. After the most valiant of fights, she was called home on August 18, 2026.

Bev was born on November 16, 1952, in Allentown, Pennsylvania to the late William Kershner and Gladys Boyer Kershner. She graduated from William Allen High School with a great interest in Chemistry and a sharp mind for Math, and became a member of the National Honor Society. She went on to build a career as an invaluable Lead, mentor, and friend in the Word Processing Department at State Farm Insurance before retiring to the South.

Bev married the love of her life, Dale L. Heintzelman, on November 20, 1982, spending every day of the rest of her life side by side with him, never finding one without the other, always displaying loyalty and unconditional love. Together, they proudly raised four children, for whom she had an unwavering love and dedication for and who blessed her with seven grandchildren and one great grandson. The love she had for her grands was immeasurable and the happiness they gave could be seen on her face every time she saw them and heard in her voice whenever she spoke of them, which would be to anyone who would listen.

Bev is dearly missed and her memory will live forever in our hearts. She lived as a natural leader with the kindest of hearts. She kept others in mind at all times, with everything she did, and could always be counted on to help you find a solution to any problem. She always wanted to help and would do anything she could for the people she cared about. Her loyalty was unshakable and her quick wit is unforgettable. She was smart, selfless, and genuine and always found a way to make you laugh. Her strength and determination are an inspiration.

She loved all things Disney, especially the parks, resorts, and fireworks. The Main Street Electrical Parade song could always bring a smile of pure joy to her face. Her lifelong dream was to live close to Disney World. She was able to realize that dream and lived the last years of her life with her husband in Winter Garden, Florida.

She had a passion for traveling, cruises, and family vacations. She loved playing Scrabble and testing her trivia knowledge watching Jeopardy. She always preferred to be out and about, even if it was only to go for “a ride” around town, holding hands with her husband, as they drove with no particular destination.

Left to cherish Bev’s memory are her husband, Dale L. Heintzelman; her children, Ken Heintzelman, Stacey Sexton, Michelle Heintzelman, and Dale Heintzelman Jr.; her seven grandchildren, Bailey, Samantha, Cross, Mikayla, Natalie, Katie, and Caydence; her great grandson, Atlas; her siblings, Bill Kershner, Gail Kershner-Heckman, and Doug Kershner; as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Bev has been reunited in Heaven with her parents, William and Gladys Kershner; her brother, Paul Kershner; and her uncle, Ken Kershner.

Services will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home in Winter Garden, Florida on a date to be determined.
