

On November 18, 1961, he married the love of his life, Carmen Rivera, and together they built a strong and loving family.
Cesar proudly served his country in the United States Army, retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class after 23 years of service. During his military career, he served in combat during both the Korean War and the Vietnam War and received multiple commendations for his service. He was also a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the National Rifle Association (NRA).
In August 1992, Cesar received his license to preach through the Assembly of Christian Churches, reflecting his deep faith and commitment to serving others.
He had a passion for gardening, working on cars, camping, and traveling. He enjoyed staying active and sharing his knowledge and talents with family and friends.
Cesar was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo Rodriguez and Secundina Velasquez, and four siblings.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Carmen Rodriguez; his four children, Cesar Rodriguez Jr., Carmen Rodriguez, Maira Rodriguez, and Jephte Rodriguez; his siblings, Sebastian, Rene, Pablo, and Marta; his 12 grandchildren; seven great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; two great-great-grandsons; as well as numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Cesar was loved by many and will be remembered as a man of unwavering faith, strength, kindness, generosity, and respect. He was a trusted counselor, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and above all, a wonderful human being whose life touched countless others.
Visitation for friends will be held on Sunday, June 14, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and 5:00pm - 7:00PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home 428 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden. Committal Service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 1:30pm at Florida National Cemetery 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
