Michael was my ex-brother-in-law. But surprisingly, I always got along with him. I understood him, and I had patience with his moods. In return, he was always a good friend. He fixed my cars and helped my sons fix their cars. He loved my Mom and Dad and he would do anything for them.
Mike had a great sense of humor, and always had a southern saying or quip for every situation.
I will miss you Mike.

My dad wrote this...It’s a little after 3 AM dad. Mom would be up making you a lunch getting ready to be at Martin by 5 AM. She loves her work and knew the importance of it. She worked on some highly classified things oh God I was enthralled watching her study and study, for hours you picked a good one. And I’m so proud of the two of you there are no words to describe how much I love you and her and I know how much you love me

I went around to meet my dad when I was 18 years old and his first reply was what are you doing here and I said coming to meet you and get to know you and he said well get on out of here and I said OK well I’ll be back tomorrow and he said no you won’t and I said yes I will I live right around the block I’ll be back tomorrow and he didn’t count on my stubbornness I guess and I came back the next day and I met his friend Tina and Darryl ♥️ and it was the first time That he Ever said hey guys this is my daughter and I’ll never forget that moment because I had been praying for it for years my dad and i had plenty of time to get to know each other We had a lot of really good times and we had some really not so good times and I know that if he was here he’d probably still be mad as hell at me but I do know also that he had so much love in his heart for me but he always just had a really hard time showing love and I know exactly what that’s like because when you grow up without a father you feel like a piece of you is missing and he grew up with two great parents I have an amazing mother who a lot of people don’t give much credit to she also has a funny way of showing her love but I know it’s there just like my father had a funny way of showing his love but I knew it was there and I’ve had a hard time trying to cry over this so I think the only thing that is feasible to believe is that while I was holding his hand when he passed away that his peace was my peace so I have no regrets none whatsoever and daddy I already knew you were at peace the moment you flew from the room the nurses asked me if I wanted to stay and I said ma’am absent from the body present with the Lord he’s not in there anymore he is free.
