Charlie was born on March 25, 1943 in Eureka, Montana to the late Alfred McCully & Joyce (Filiatreau) McCully.
Charlie loved growing up in Montana, and was proud to have been a participant in the Montana Boys State program, and he loved his country. He dedicated his life to service in the United States Air Force, was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and retired with distinction. All who knew him saw his continued support for the military.
Charlie continued to go back to Montana visiting family with his bride, his children and eventually his grandchildren.
Charlie went on to work in Equipment Repair for Sherwin-Williams, having a knack and an enjoyment for making things work. Otherwise, you could find him riding around the neighborhood with his adored grandchildren, watching NASCAR, in the kitchen cooking for family and friends, or hanging out in his garage with his treasures!
His family and friends can hardly believe he has gone, and they look forward to the day when they will meet again!
Charles is preceded in death by his dear parents; father and mother in-law Daniel Byrd and Ocie Cumie Skipper; siblings Frances Stanton (Harold), Philip Fisher (Danette), Bob McCully, and Pam McCully.
He is survived by his loving wife, Willie Mae (Skipper) McCully; daughter, Pamela McCully and son, Philip McCully (Jennifer); grandchildren, Tiffany Williams (Christian), Rylee McCully, Macie McCully, Lillian McCully and Curran McCully; great grandchildren, Kaylee Williams, Brooklyn Williams and Jackson Williams; siblings, Vernon “Jumbo” McCully, Sam McCully (Fran), Bill Fisher, Barbara Frost (Stan), Bud McCully (Debbie), Mike McCully, and Pat McCully (Brenda); and many other beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and family and friends.
