Debra J. Durrett

Aug 7, 1957 – Mar 6, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Debra Jean Durrett. Debra will be remembered for her unrequited love for others, devotion to family, and her ability to make us laugh even in the darkest of times. She was a compassionate caregiver in the NICU at Orlando Regional Medical Center for 20+ years. She went on to be with her late father, mother, and brother on Saturday, March 6 year 2021 from Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN while in the presence of her loved ones.

A loving sister, terrific aunt, and daughter and loved by many. She is survived by her sister, Vickie Barton Durrett, stepfather, Charles Wayne Efurd, nieces Rachel Sparks, Ashley Durrett, Tonya Brown, and Jessica Messamore, nephews Ryan Brown and Josh Osterburg, as well as several great nieces, nephews, and her dog Bentley. She was preceded in death by her father William F. Durrett, mother Della Marie Efurd, and brother William F. Durrett Jr..

While we mourn the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, aunt, and best friend, we are comforted knowing heaven is welcoming a new angel. May we always remember her and strive to earn the love that she so graciously bestowed on us all. She will be missed by all, but never forgotten.

Debra will be laid to rest at 1:00 pm EST time on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Ocoee Cemetery with a graveside service only. Memorials can be sent to Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home in Winter Garden, FL.
