Donald Ray Swartz, 67, of Winter Garden, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 28, 2019.

Mr. Swartz honorably served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Disney in the warehouse for over 30 years. His love for Disney was very apparent in his twin granddaughters when he would take them to share precious time together. He also enjoyed hunting , the Steelers, and Penn State.

He will be remembered as a devout Christian who loved the Lord, a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Donnabelle Swartz.

Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years Leta Maryann Swartz; daughter, Tammy (Kevin) Geschke; father, Joseph Charles Swartz; two brothers, Joseph and Kevin Swartz; two sisters, Cheryl McLallen and Brenda Cesario, and two grandchildren, Hannah and Haley Geschke.

The family will receive friends from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home in Winter Garden.

Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at noon with Pastor Bryan Stamper officiating. Interment will follow in Winter Garden Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

My thoughts & prayers go out to Maryann, Tammy Jo & Family...my memory of "Bubba" is the love he had for ya'll & how proud he was of Hannah & Haley...Bubba was definitely the most devote husband, dad, grandpa & friend...how he could make anyone laugh or smile when they were down...RIP Bubba...🙏
