

Edgar "Guegui" Montalvo Febres, a beloved son, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, in the comforting presence of those who loved him, after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. Born on April 26, 1974, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Edgar lived a life full of warmth, humor, and dedication to those he held dear.
The cherished son of Diana Febres and Edgar Montalvo, Guegui's life was a testament to resilience and joy. He proudly served his country in the military, and upon completing his service, he channeled his passion for health and fitness into a career as a personal trainer. His commitment to helping others achieve their best selves left an indelible mark on everyone he trained.
Guegui was an avid reader, constantly seeking knowledge and understanding. His sharp mind and quick wit were complemented by his remarkable sense of humor. He had an uncanny ability to lift the spirits of those around him, always ready with a joke or a humorous remark that brightened even the darkest days.
He is lovingly remembered by his two brothers Carlos and Rafi, his three children, Jacob, Nathan, and Nadia, who were the pride and joy of his life. His legacy continues through his granddaughter, Elise, who brought him immense happiness and pride.
In addition to his immediate family, Guegui leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity. Those who knew him will remember his compassionate spirit and unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.

Visitation will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home 428 E. Plant St Winter Garden, Florida 34787, on Sunday September 13th, 2026, from 2:00pm to 5:00 pm. Funeral will be held at Florida National Cemetery 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, Florida 33513 on Monday September 14th, 2026, at 12:30 pm.
