Eddie lived in Northport at one time.  His house was at the end of a long and very steep driveway.    I lived not to far from Eddie and decided to help him shovel his driveway after a snow storm.  We worked together and had a good time shoveling.  My mother, who was a great cook, made Eddie an orange cake which I took to him.  It was the last cake she made before passing.

Ed was such a kind and fun person. He was a wonderful colleague who always aimed to make you smile. Ed was such a giving soul.  On behalf of his LOTE colleagues, I send condolences and prayers to his friends and family.  

Eddie was in my 5th grade class He lived around the corner from me in Commack.  We use to have these dance parties.  Each week we would collect .25 for treats per party goer. The party would alternate between the party goers houses.  Fond memories of twisting the night away.

Eddie and were good friends growing up in Commack. I had only seen him once since leaving school.  I have fond memories of those days and know that he will be missed by family and friends alike.

As a colleague, Ed was always willing to lend an ear, a helping hand or constructive ideas during many hours of common planning .  There are fond memories that are too numerous to go into, but most importantly, he really was the type of person who would give someone the proverbial shirt off his back. He made sure we all knew how thrilled and proud he was when he became a grandfather.  Sincere condolences to his family.


Eddie was a good friend in high school. Shared some good times on the LIRR bar car while working in NYC.  My heart feels heavy with his lost.  To his family I am sorry for your loss.  May Eddie rest in peace.  

Ed was an incredible teacher and coach  He dedicated his life to his family and all of the students that he taught and mentored. In addition he was a very good friend. He will be fondly remembered but truly missed.
