Bio:
Everette was born at home in Kenova, West Virginia on June 17, 1939 to Everette and Edith Eastham. Everette graduated from Buffalo High School in Kenova, West Virginia. He then attended West Virginia State University and Marshall University, and he later became a certified x-ray technologist. Everette prayed to receive Christ as a ten-year-old young man, and by his early twenties, he began teaching and then preaching. He was ordained at Starke Lake Baptist Church in Ocoee, Florida. Throughout his life, he has been the lead pastor at First Baptist Church of Taft in Orlando, Florida, Stonelick Baptist Church in Maysville, Kentucky, Starke Lake Baptist Church in Ocoee, Florida, as well as serving an interim pastor at several other churches. Everette worked as an x-ray technologist at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Florida for 18 years. He has also worked as an x-ray technologist at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia, and Mercy Drive Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Everette was a loving father to five children, a faithful husband to Wanda, a brother, uncle, cousin, pastor, and friend. He was an avid sports fan, and he was very vocal about his love of West Orange High School athletics and the University of Florida athletics. He was a Florida Gator fan through and through. Everette loved the Lord, his family, sports, talking about x-rays, and Christmas lights. He had a beautiful operatic baritone voice, and he loved to sing. Everette was known for his extroversion, jovial attitude, winning smile, and love for all people that he met.
