Gloria Dean Blankenship

Gloria Dean Blankenship, 87 of Flowery Branch, GA went home to be with her Lord September 16, 2018. Gloria was a long time resident of Winter Garden prior to her moving to Georgia to be closer to family after her husband’s passing. Gloria was a devout Baptist and she longed to be with Jesus. Her family was also a joy in her life and she loved being with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bennett Blankenship; her sons: Paul Bennett Blankenship and Jimmy Lee Blankenship; her brother Wallace Strayer; her sister, Marilyn Carlton and her great grandson, Jeffrey Blankenship. Gloria is survived by her children: Dean Blankenship and his wife Jane and Benna Mangum and her husband Keith; her sister Jacqueline Gohern; her grandchildren: Tina Collins, Jeff Blankenship, Tony Litton, Holly Rozic, Autumn Howard, Jabob Litton, Paul Blankenship, Nicole Blankenship, Brittany Porter, Joseph Blankenship, Serena Blankenship, Denett Blankenship and Travis Gowan; her 20 great grandchildren and her 6 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 20 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 10 AM Friday, September 21 in the funeral home chapel with burial at the Winter Garden Cemetery, Winter Garden, FL.
