LAWTON, Guadalupe Isabel

It is with great sadness that the family of Guadalúpe I Lawton, known to friends as “Lúpe”, announces her passing after a hard fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer, on Monday, June 11, 2018, at the age of 75 years. Lúpe had a fervent zest for life with a smile that could brighten any room. Her “can do” attitude was her Mantra, because she was a Cantú. She took care of people her whole life and touched the very soul of people who knew her. Lúpe will be lovingly remembered by her children, Elizabeth, Lorriel, and Frederick. Lúpe will also be fondly remembered by her 6 grandchildren, Adam, Alexis, Olivia, Isabella, Eliana, and Myles, by her sisters, Grace, Olivia, and Julie and her brother Anthony.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m., at Mosaic Church,14175 W Colonial Dr, Winter Garden, FL 34787, with Pastor Renaut van der Riet officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Mrs. Lawton. Specific Information about memorial contributions will be added at a later time.

Lupe will forever be in both my and my husband’s heart for her love, compassion and kindness in her care of my mom after her surgery, when Lupe was a nurse at TnC hospital. I am honored to have called her my friend and know that she is at peace with our Lord. I have known Lupe for many years and will always remember her vibrant smile! God bless to all of her family members that are feeling her lose. My prayers are with you all.
