I was devastated to learn of Bill's passing. I knew him through the Publix where I shop. He always had a smile, a pleasant greeting, and as I left he told me to "behave myself"! He will be greatly missed and shopping at Publix has lost his warmth.

Bill was a 1967 classmate at Hickory High School. Bill was a great athlete from Patagonia. I always marveled at his baseball skills and thought he may go into the major leagues. He had a kind disposition and was well liked by all who knew him. May you Rest In Peace, Bill.

My heart is broken over the news of Bill’s passing. He was and always will be family to me as will the entire Wiercinski family.

I remember one of the first times I met Bill in Sharon, PA. We both loved sports and took in a local High School football game. He was such a gentle man who was always happy. I am so fortunate to have spent the better part of 16 years with him and the Wiercinski clan. I will cherish all my memories with him forever!

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mary Ann (Glimmer) and her family as well as all of his friends.

Rest in piece my friend.

Love you, Buddy!

I have nothing but fond memories of Bill. What a great guy. My wife, two kids, and I are making memories in the house Bill built in Transfer. This is a photo of him at our camp in Benezette around 1980. He’s the one on the far side of the table on the right. Others in the photo that are busting Bill’s chops now in Heaven are Jerry Levis, my grandpa Joe DeJulia, and my uncle Frank Podobnik. I love you, Bill. May God bless you and your family. Give Aunt Pearl a kiss for me.

May God grant you eternal peace Uncle Bill, and May God comfort you and the kids Maryann. He was my Dad’s best friend, and I know the 2 of them are up there already planning some shenanigans! I’ll miss you Uncle Bill, you were like a father to me. ❤️🥃🥃
