Katie was born in Orlando, Florida to Robert and Deborah Holmes on June 29, 1988. Katie was a pet enthusiast and rescued many different animals in her lifetime. She loved them all dearly!
Katie is survived by her boyfriend of 19 years, Matthew Strickland of Winter Garden, Florida, her brother, Christopher Holmes of Windermere, Florida, her Uncle Gary and Aunt Barb Holt of Fuquay Varina, NC, her Aunt Debbie Holmes of Fort Myers, Florida and several cousins. She is proceeded in death by her father, Robert Holmes, her mother, Deborah Holmes, her paternal grandparents, Donald and Millie Holmes, and her maternal grandparents, Donald Holt and Lillie Farmer.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Winter Garden Cemetery (13636 Lake Butler Blvd, Winter Garden, FL 34786).
Family and friends are welcome to the home after the services.
