

Lawrence “Larry” Lanterman, 66. Born September 12, 1945 in Youngstown, Ohio to Paul & Virginia Lanterman. Larry proudly served as a U.S.A.F. Pararescueman and dedicated 35 years to Progress Energy before retiring. He was a Winter Garden, FL resident since 1971. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Alice “Honey” Adamson Lanterman; son, Joshua “Sport Model” (Amy) Lanterman; daughter, Rebecca “Tince” Lanterman (Dominic) Gaudious and the two lights of his life, his granddaughter, Skye “Skye Baby” Lanterman, and his grandson, Dominic “The Nickster” Gaudious,. He is also survived by his sister, Sue (Rick) Stiles, Youngstown, OH, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ruth Ann and Earl Adamson, his ”adopted” family, Tim, Amanda, godchildren, M and Em Warren and, numerous brothers and sisters in Christ, neighbors, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Larry succumbed to an auto immune lung disease and fought valiantly for 21 days with the nurturing and loving care by the staff at Florida Hospital South. Jesus took him by the right hand and led him to heaven (Psalm 73:23) on the Lord’s Day, April 22. Visitation will be held at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, Winter Garden, on Wednesday, April 25th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be held Thursday, April 26th, at 1:30 at First Baptist Church Winter Garden where Larry and Alice married in 1969. Interment following at Winter Garden Cemetery.
