She was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 4th, 1942. Marjorie graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and received a master's degree from Adelphi University.
Marjorie had a career in Education for the NYC Board of Education - 33 years a special education teacher - and she was a member of the United Federation of Teachers. She had a passion for educating young minds.
She was preceded in death by Beatrice Smith, Demetrious Marcelle, Norman Marcelle, and Patricia Smith.
She is survived by Demetrious Beatty, Tyro Beatty, Crystal Ford, Jahmal Rose, (Donna Lewis, Keith Smith) siblings. Christopher Ford: son-in-law, Leechia Beatty: Daughter-in-law, Shawn Gibbs: grandson-in-law, Felice: sister-in-law.
