Mike Bean, 61 of Oakland, Florida passed away on May 18, 2016. He was born in Harvey, IL on July 7, 1954. Mike retired from the Orange County Fire Department at 23 years of service. He enjoyed riding his Harley and family was the joy of his life. He was a very private man, but had a very caring heart. Mike is survived by his wife, Joanne Bean, his children: Stephanie Bean and Heather Bean; his sisters, Becky Putnam, Susan Milligan and Amber Doebler and by his grandchildren: Matthew Bean and Brooke Bean.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24 from 5 – 8 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 25 at 11 AM at Resurrection Catholic Church in Winter Garden. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to VITAS Hospice in memory of Mike.
