Mildred graduated from Bonifay High School and married R.V. Howell on June 11, 1954. She retired from the State of Florida as a Toll Operator.
Mildred's passion included sewing and cooking. She made the best sour cream poundcake!
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, R.V. Howell; her cherished daughter, Patricia Reed; her loving father, Curtis E. Whitaker; loving mother, Ruby E. Whitaker; cherished brothers, Wendell L Whitaker, E. Whitaker, Jr. and sister, Dorothy J. Brown
She is survived by her loving sister, Sarah Fay Quinn; cherished niece, Sheila L. Quinn, nephew Bruce Quinn, as well as several nieces and nephews and their families.
Mildred's Funeral Service will be held at Baldwin Fairchild in Winter Garden, Florida on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 12:00 pm with her committal following on the same day at 1:30 pm at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, Florida.
