Nina J. Glover

Nina J. Glover was born in Whigham, Georgia on June 17, 1931 and departed this world March 9, 2021 after a brief, difficult battle with cancer. Mrs. Glover was married for nearly 73 years to “her sailorman” John. They moved to Winter Garden in 1948. She was a homemaker and devoted mother for a number of years prior to working for Dillard Street Elementary School for more than two decades. She was recognized frequently in and around Winter Garden by former students who were often married with children of their own.

Mrs. Glover is survived by her husband John, their three children Rhonda, Steve (Lynn), and Lorri, two grandchildren, Andrea (Scott) and Andy, several great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Mrs. Glover is also survived by her two sisters, Erma Elrod, Edie (Bryant) Strickland and one brother, Al (Shirley) Bishop.

Visitation will be held on Monday March 15, 2021 from 1:30pm to 2:30pm with a funeral service at 2:30pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home 428 E. Plant St. Winter Garden, Florida 34787. Interment will take place following the service at Winter Garden Cemetery 13636 Lake Butler Blvd. Winter Garden, Florida 34787.
